How can I keep grass trimmings out of the landscaping when mowing with a tractor?

i have a side blower. the problem is that i do mow away from it making a three space wide border and then i cut up and down pushing the grass outward. i tried manipulating the throttle but it still wont work!

    1. Use a smaller mower on the edges.
    2. Pay someone alot of money to put in decorative cement edging for you.

    I assume you have some type of rock or large bark along the edge of your lawn and it is very ugly when the grass turns yellow on it.

    3. If the above is true, buy a gas powered blower, (homedepot about 130-250bucks) blow the grass off the landscape material after you mow.

    Your problem is very common, I know what your talking about.

    Mow so the thrower is away from the landscaping.

    Use a baggier atleast around planting beds. Is it side or rear discharge ? If it is side then turn the mower around and shoot grass away from planting beds. Good luck
