I am a first time homeowner (lawnowner) and need advice and direction on lawn maintance. Can anyone direct me to a seasonal lawn care chart. Hopefully displaying what to do in each season. Something not to complicated.

If you are in the US your best resource is the Cooperative Extension Service. This forgotten agency was originally designed to help farmers and ranchers but as cities grew, they also took on homeowners/housewives.
They have degreed, advanced degreed horticulture agents available to answer your questions and a wealth of printed material…….not quite your seasonal lawn chart but enough info for you to make your own chart! Also many agents now have Master Gardener volunteers who are there to answer questions…….they too are trained.
To find this free info on the web (or phonebook, blue pages) is do a search (your state) Cooperative Extension Service. You’ll probably end up at your state university site. From there you’ll find references to “bulletins” or info sheets as well as the agent in your county. Start with the info sheets…right there on the web. Or you can just google: growing lawns in (your state). You’ll probably end up at some of those bulletins.
Don’t stress! Thanks to decades of research and funds from the US Golf Association, lawn growing science is quite advanced. We have the tools, grasses, fertilizers, weed and other problem stuff. What you need to do is educate yourself.

Your local extension office (a free service) can help you. For example, here is the State of Florida website:
