I’m going to be starting a landscaping project, but I have no tools. I’m going to rip out some bushes and small trees, put in some grass and small shrubs and plant a flower garden. What are the 5 or so tools that I absolutely must have to have the basics covered?

  2. Keebler Says:

    1. Shovel to loosen the ground dig the dirt and then dump the dirt back into the hole this will loosen the soil allowing for air and water to reach the roots of what you plant, dig the shrubs, and plant new ones
    2. Rake (metal tines) to help mix the soil and any amendments you add. Also flip over (tines up) to level the soil for a flat lawn.

These two items are essential you may want a seeder to spread the grass seed however shaking it throuh your fingers will do well
