What is the average cost for small landscaping jobs?

dierboy asked:
We have some uneven spots in our yard and would like to have some trees planted. We already have red granite along the sides of the house and the garage, but the plastic edging is not straight in some places. Due to very hectice schedules, we are thinking about hiring a professional landscaping service. Just curious if anyone has done that and what the costs might be.

you would be better off doing it yourself, i am sure you will save lots of money by doing so. best advice i can give you is what i charge for labor and that is $15.00 per hour. where do you live?lol good luck!

that is too vague of a question to give an accurate answer. Where do you live, How many man hours will it take. What plants or structures are involved These are questions you’ll have to answer. If it is a small job consider doing it yourself. The rewards are great knowing you done it yourself. And if you figure out what is you want done, go to home depot are a local nursery and talk to some people about it. Most people are happy to share any insight they can

Most landscapers work by the hour some will work for a set fee. Sounds like project could be larger than you think time you fill some holes plant some trees and replace the edging—I would think depending on the job of coarse you could get it done for 750-1200 plus the material. I am assuming it would take longer than a day it sounds like to me
