What’s the best way to cut a single landscaping brick?

Eric in Philly asked:
I put a small flower bed in a corner of my lawn, and put edging bricks around the border. The last brick is a little too long. It’s only about 2-1/2″ thick and 3″ tall where I need to cut it. Is there a way I can cut this brick without buying a power saw? (I do have a Dremel and a power drill, and various other hand tools.)

Hello……
All you need is a hammer & cold chisel. Draw a pencil line where you want the cut, then gently score the line with the hammer & chisel going all the way around several times. After a few minutes of this you’ll see it start to crack along your line.
