SwimGuy asked: A lot of mushrooms grow on my backyard and frontyard. There are a lot of cats on my neighborhood.
I was asking a friend if those mushroom could be edible, she tells me they are toxic, and they are a result from cat pee.
Could this be true?

Sprinkler pipe burst and the contractor made a huge mess tearing out dead shrubs. The landscaping rocks have been mixed in with the soil and weed control fabric.

I live in northeast Texas and am searching for some cheap ideas on developing a better landscape for my yard. Besides purple sage and lantana, can anyone suggest any flowers/plants that are really heat tolerant and drought resistant that look nice? Thanks.

I have 3 big dogs in my backyard. When we first bought the house, the backyard was nice and green. Now my backyard is nothing but dirt. I have “tracks” around my trees from them chasing each other around them. What is my best course of action?

DAX asked: My backyard consists of nothing but hard dirt, not even weeds seem to want to grow back there.
How could i grow some grass, i have never had a back yard before… and i dont want to use sod.
Do i just sprinkle some seeds or do i have to till everything, add good soil etc?

I have four active birdhouses in my backyard. They are each several years old. How often should I clean them out of all the twigs, leaves, etc., or should I leave them alone?

Chelle asked: I am very interested and determined to sell my established landscaping business. I am constantly putting ads on craigslist, the classifieds, and on the internet, but I constantly get bombarded with spam or “flakey” responses.
I am trying to avoid using a business broker, since brokers gain a considerable percentage of the sale of the business.
Is there another option that I’m overlooking?

Inali K asked: I know they are two different jobs, although the LA does LD work sometimes, but what is the salary difference? Whenever I look with google.com, I only get results for landscape architects and not landscape designers.
Also, can landscape designers still work at firms with landscape architects, or are landscape designers usually self-employed?
I also meant to say what is the salary difference with working with a company?
I’d rather work for a firm than have my own business.
